I am piecing together a thread from Casper Hallenbeck b. 1746 son of Jan Hannesse and Hendrickje Hallenbeck (first cousins)
  • By 1780 Casper and Hilletje Scherp had a son Andries (b. 1780 Kinderhook).
  • By 1800 Casper lives in Bethlehem, Albany, next to daughter Alida m. to Wm. Montgomery
  • By 1810 a household adjacent to Montgomery is headed by "Andrew" Hallenbeck
  • In 1812 Andrew Hallenbeck and Angelica baptise a son James McCloskey (orig misspelled) Hallenbeck
  • Preferred affiliations seem to be Albany Lutheran Church
If this rings a bell for anyone, email me and I'll provide details [1]
