Samuel Halenbeek was born on 11 December 1779 and baptized on 25 December in the Reformed Dutch Church of Albany, New York, recorded as the child of Abrah Halenbeek and Maria Pruin. Witnesses were Samuel and Neeltje Pruin.[1][2]
