Biography

Charles was born 9 Mar 1893 in Galena, Jo Daviess County, Illinois. He was the son of Edgar Hallett and Mary Yeaman.

In 1900 he was living in Galena, Jo Daviess, Illinois.[1] The household included Hanan Geaman 71, daughter Annie Geaman 30, daughter Mary Hallett 35, grandchild Frank Hallett 10, grandchild Charles Hallett 6. Hannah was widowed, the mother of 3 children, 2 living. Annie was single. Mary was widowed, the mother of 2 children, both living.

In 1910 he was living in Galena Ward 5, Jo Daviess, Illinois.[2] The household included George Houy 39, wife Anna Houy 40, son Edmund Houy 15, son George Houy Jr. 12, son Daniel Houy 10, son Harold Houy 6, daughter Evelyn Houy 3, mother-in-law Hannah Yeaman 82, sister-in-law Mary Hallett 45, nephew Frank Hallett 20, nephew Charles Hallett 17. He died 11 Apr 1964 in Davenport, Scott County, Iowa[8] and is buried in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, Scott County, Iowa.[9]
