George was born in 1846. George Hallmark ... He passed away in 1906. First-hand information as remembered by J. Ingraham Berry, Monday, June 9, 2014.

Born in 1846 in Rockford, Alabama, George Stone Hallmark moved to Warrington as a young man. He worked for many years as the chief clerk to the commandant at the Pensacola Navy Yard.

George Stone Hallmark was a prominent Pensacola judge and is the namesake of Hallmark Elementary School.
