Eliza Halls was born in 1869. She was the daughter of Charles Samuel Halls and Lucy Brook. [1]
In 1871, Eliza was residing with her parents and older brother, Samuel, in Ipswich, Suffolk. [2]
In 1881, Eliza's nuclear family had grown and she had three younger siblings. The family were residing in Rope Walk, Ipswich, Suffolk. Eliza's father was a dock worker. [3]
In 1891, Eliza married Christopher Grimwood. The marriage was registered in Cosford, Suffolk. [4]
By 1901, Eliza and her husband were living in Thorpe Morieux, Suffolk. The couple had three sons and two daughters. Eliza's husband was a horseman on a farm. [5]
In 1911, the family were still living in Thorpe Morieux, Suffolk. They appeared to have had another child (Ivy) about 1908, named Ivy Grimwood, but have not located the GRO record yet to confirm she was their biological child. [6]
