Anne Halsted, the daughter of John Halsted and Mary Sellers, was born in the hamlet of Rowley in the township of Worsthorne in the ancient parish of Whalley, Lancashire, England and was baptised on 12 November 1581 at St Peter's Chapel, Burnley, Lancashire, England.[1]
