Obituary
Jennifer Kono,51,of Port Orchard died August 25 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. Jennifer was born May 1, 1962 in Windom, Minnesota to Gerald and late Lorraine (Ross)Halverson. On March 17, 1984 she married to Alan Russell Kono who died in 2005. Jennifer was a Pharmacy Tech for Group Health for 23 years. She left Group Health after Alan's death and continued the legacy as owner and operator of PJ's Market. Jennifer loved being a mom and even more as a Grandma, spending time gardening and with gran daughters Makena and Kalena. She was also known to float around in her pool on sunny days. She survived by her children Stephanie and Jared; her father Gerlad; 3 brothers Bradley, Bob and Scott and 2 grand daughters Makena and Kalena. Services will be 11 am Friday, August 30th at Rill's Life Tribute Center with interment fllowing at Sunset Lane Memorial Park. Namaste', "PJ" Braun, EtCm/ USN- retired...
