John, son of William and Joan (Slee) Ham, was baptised at Tiverton on 24 April 1623.[1]
Marriage
He married Margaret Chown, probably in about 1645[2]. (Their first child was born in 1647.)
Death
John Ham died in 1678 and was buried August 13 at Halberton, Devon, England[3][4][5]
He was a benefactor to Blundell's School, Tiverton.
A memorial to John and Margaret in Halberton church or churchyard was recorded in 1843. It was partially illegible then and completely gone by 1930. The reading of "Petronella" is presumably a mistake.[6]
