Biography
George Hamblen was born in 1837 and christened on 23 Jul 1837 at Purse Caundle, Dorset, England. He is the son of Job Hamblen and Mary Goff[1].
In the 1861 census George was age 23, an agricultural labourer, living at Milborne Port, Somerset with his sister Sarah Williams[2].
No confirmed record of George has been found after the 1861 census. It is possible he served in the Army or Navy.
