Biography
Johann Heinrich Hamburg was born on 5 February 1778 as son of Hans Gabriel Hamburg and Anne Catharine Hamburg nee Müller of Kirchweyhe. About 1805, he married Margarethe Dorothea Quickenstedt of Kallenbrock farm no. 2, with whom he had ten children. From 1806 to 1813, he worked in a brickyard in Grünhagen, and from 1815 to 1828 as general labourer. He passed away in Grünhagen on 24 September 1833 from a respiratory infection and was buried in Bienenbüttel on 27 September 1833.
