Marie Louise Hamel was born 20 Dec 1732, baptized the next day in St-Sulpice[4], the daughter of Jean Baptiste Hamel and Marie Angélique Granmaison; her godfather was Jacques Durant, godmother Marie Louise Chagnon. Her father is cited as present at her baptism, neither he nor the godparents could sign the record.
