Biography

Edward George Hamerton was born 9th December 1893, Bell Block, New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand. He was the son of Gervase Hamerton and Elizabeth Fuller. His birth was registered the following year, in 1894. [1]

Marriage. On 25th April 1917, he married Ivy Ellen Sophia List, in New Zealand. [2]

Edward and Ivy had four children registered up to 1923, all with Edward recorded as Edwin:[3] Two others are named on their headstone.

Death. Edward died 8th November 1968, aged 75. [4]

Burial. Edward and Ivy are buried Huntly Old Lawn Cemetery (Row 8, Plot 2). [5]
