Biography

Alec was the eldest child. Alex was engaged to Edie Irving [ daughter of Irving Ellis the head teacher ] in the early 1920's, but he left the district to manage a farm near Dubbo in NSW. He married (while away from home)? after a family dispute, probably in NSW, but had no children. No record of this marriage has been located in Victorian or NSW archives. Alex returned to Victoria and rented a farm near Joyce's Creek. When married they bought a farm near Mount Franklin, but later returned to the Sandon family farm.
