Biography of Rebecca D. Hamilton Vortek

Rebecca D. Hamilton was born 28 Apr 1952, a daughter ofBill Hamilton and Virginia Hamilton.

Rebecca graduated from Greater Latrobe High School and attended Asbury College at Wilmore, Ky. ^[1]

Rebecca married first Ronald Durham, and they became the parents of a daughter and a son. ^[2] Their children are:

• Kathy Durham Trout ^[3]
• Ronald Durham Jr. ^[4]

She married second John Voytek. They also divorced. ^[5]

As a young woman, she was very active in youth ministry, and later became a faithful caregiver of rescued animals. ^[6]

She was employed by Penn Furniture Co. and Weiss Furniture Co. of Latrobe, then Heilig-Myers Furniture Co. and Wolf Furniture Co. of State College, and finally Thrift Drug Co. ^[7]

At the age of 55, Rebecca D. Hamilton Voytek, of Bellefonte, formerly of Latrobe, died suddenly Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at UPMC Presbyterian, Oakland. ^[8]

She was predeceased by her parents (William N. 6/24/1992 and Virginia H. 9/15/2001). ^[9]
