I live in Los Angeles, California, and I have been researching my family for two years. I love the work involved and I'm fascinated with finding out as much as I can about my ancestors.

Thank you for signing the honor code and thus upgrading, 😊
I am very pleased to welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together. Shirley has already given you some pointers on creating profiles, I see you are nice and active. My thanks.
It would be great if you could use real sources on the profiles. I notice you use 'ancestry.com ' as a single source on Hamilton-23937. Ancestry is a massive website with millions of records. Without the description of the real deed, preferably with the link, it is impossible to verify the source. See https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1088701/any-way-to-make-it-clear-that-its-on-ancestry-is-not-a-source for some discussion on it.
It is best to start with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.
I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.
Happy tree climbing.

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
