Biography

Molly Hamilton was born February 25, 1775 to Captain David Hamilton, 1742–1817, and Mary Knox, 1751–1828, in Blandford, Hampden, Massachusetts. She married Moses Baird on 16 Jan 1797 in Blandford, Hampden, Massachusetts. She died in childbirth just over a year later and is buried in the Blandford Cemetery in Blandford, Hampden County, Massachusetts. Gravestone Inscription: "In Memory of Mrs. Molly Baird, wife to Mr. Mofes (Moses) Baird, who died May 12, 1798 in the 24 year of her age" "Lying at the foot her stillborn infant"
