The statement given under regarding Marion's baptism has no source to back it up but appears to be based on a family tree in Family Search which has names and dates attached with no source given. I have searched the Scottish OPR's and can find no record of a Marion Hamilton being baptised as below 28 May 1716. Also the death date given (1749) seems to be based on the date of her last child's birth with no source to back it up. The closest birth for Marion I can find and the most likely is as I have provided above 16/06/1717 621 10 / 29 AVONDALE. Drummie-1

Marion was baptized on 28 May 1716. She married Gavin Semple on 26 Oct 1737.^[2]
