Obituary

Passed away April 6, 2016 at the age of 59. Sharon was born January 31, 1957 in Detroit, MI to Bert and Jean (Sheridan) Hamilton. As a child, Sharon attended St. Thomas Aquinas School and East Lansing High School. Sharon successfully fulfilled her lifetime dreams of becoming an empathetic nurse, loving wife, and a mother. She was an enthusiastic member of life and unconditionally demonstrated kind acts of compassionate generosity for all within her community.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norm in 2011, father Bert Hamilton, and sister, Kathleen (Hamilton) Pawelec.

Surviving is her daughter, and son, her mother, 2 brothers and 5 sisters, 1 brother-in-law 2 sisters-in- law and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday April 15, 2016 at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Road, East Lansing. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Ave, East Lansing and also one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sharon may be made to "Hospice of Lansing, Stoneleigh Residence", 3411 Stoneleigh Dr., Lansing, MI 48910 or "St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church", 955 Alton Road, East Lansing, MI 48823.^[2]
