Biography

Charles was born in 1831. He was the son of Josiah Hamilton and Polly Poole. Sergeant Charles S. Hamilton served in Company B, 22nd Battalion Georgia Cavalry (State Guards), CSA.[1] He passed away in 1909, and was buried at Hamilton Hill Cemetery, Kibbee, Montgomery County, Georgia.[2]
