Elijah Hamilton Sr. was born on 13 Sep 1759 in Burwick, Maine, son of Gabriel Hamilton (1713 - 1783) and Sarah (Grant) Hamilton (1723 - 1776).
Elijah married Mary Gould (~1756 - 1818). Their children were:
