Biography
John married Mary Beggs on 20 Mar 1794 at Rockbridge, Virginia.[1] He died in 1819 and his widow, Mary, went to Highland Couty, Ohio with her children. Among those children are:

- Lucinda
- Moses, moved to Rising Sun, Indiana
- Isaac, moved to Peoria, Illinois
- James, died of a snake bite at age 19
- Sarah Ella m. Lewis Chaney, moved to Des Moines, Iowa
