Alexander Crudent Hamilton (1849 - 1923)

Alexander was born on 17 Apr 1849 in Alabama USA to Friend W. Hamilton and Elizabeth Maples. His father died before Alexander was ten. Alexander took up carpentry as an occupation, as his father had done. He married at least three times, and died on 24 Oct 1923 at the age of 74 in Greene County, Missouri, USA. The 1920 Census for his third wife, Pearl, states that she is a widow. However, on his death certificate of 1923, his wife is listed as "Mary Jane", so possibly Mary is a forth wife, and Pearl listed herself as a widow rather than a divorcee.
