Biography

Emmet C. Hamilton, son of Henry Hamilton and Emma (Skinner) Hamilton, was born on 17 Jan. 1899 at Burnwood, Delaware County, New York, USA.^[1] He appeared on the census of 25 June 1900 in the household of Lewis Norton and Parmelia (Cornelia M.) (Miller) Norton at Hancock, Delaware County, New York.^[2] He appeared on the census of 15 April 1910 in the household of his grandfather, George Skinner and Katherine Murray at Hancock, Delaware County, New York. ^[3]

He married Ersula about 1926.^[4]

He was a proprietor of a restaurant when he appeared on the census of 10 April 1930 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.^[4] He was a proprietor of a restaurant when he appeared on the census of 10 April 1940 at 6000 Pennsylvania Ave., Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.^[5]

Emmet died on 9 June 1952 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan,^[1], at age 53 and was buried at East Branch Cemetery, Hancock, Delaware County, New York. His memorial has a photo of his headstone shared with his parents.^[6][7]
