Opal Elizabeth Hamilton was born on July 7, 1903 to John Albert Hamilton and Stella Montrose Franklin in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Oklahoma. The Hamilton's had four children: Jewell Belle(1898), Opal Elizabeth((1903), Ana(1907) and John Woodrow((1911).
Opal's older sister Jewell married Rufus Oran Weems in 1919. Through Jewell, Opal met Rufus's brother Walter. In 1920 or 1921, Opal and Walter William Weems were married. They were living in Carmel, Jackson, Oklahoma.
On Februry 4, 1922 they had a son, William Albert (Billie), at Olustee, Jackson, Oklahoma. Wanda was born in 1924, and L Jack was born in 1928. In 1930 they were living in Carmel.
Opal died on July 28, 1964 at the age of 61.
