Hamblin-1676 and Hamlin-1504 appear to represent the same person because:

Andrew was sexton for this cemetery, until his death. This branch of the Hamlin Family added the "B" after the death of Andrew. Burial date 1 April 1891. Married Sarah A McBath of New Mildord 29 Aug 1869 He served in the Civil War in the 11th Maine Inf., {alias Henry Peck}. He was wounded at Petersburg VA., minnieball to the foot. He is listed in the Roll of Members of Custer Post, No. 46, G. A. R.Sarah and Andrew met at a Dr. office where she worked. After the death of Andrew Hamblin, Sarah filed for pension. She tried for over a year with no luck. She was told there was no one of that name who served. Some one told her to add the 'B' to Hamlin and send it in. This worked and she was given $16 a month. Records on file at NNCC Washington DC. This is why the name is spelled 'Hamblin in this branch of the family.
