Arline H. Hancock, 74, died Oct. 6, 1983, at the Brunswick Regional Memorial Hospital. She was born in Milan, N. H., March 23, 1909, the daughter of Hazen D. and Mary L. (Lary) Hamlin. She was the wife of the late Lewis Hancock. She is survived by one son, Alan A., and one daughter, Mrs. Holland (Mary) Hews, both of Mapleton; one brother, David Hamlin of Brunswick; one sister, Helen Jodrie of Berlin, N. H.; seven grandchildren, Micheal, Robert, Timothy, Penny and Jennifer Hancock, Lewis and Lary Hews. Friends and relatives may call at the Stimson Funeral Home, Ashland, 7-9 p. m. Friday, and 1 p. m. until time of services Saturday. Funeral services will be held 2 p. m. Saturday at Stimson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Elliot Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Ashland Town Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the American Heart Association. Envelopes may be obtained at the funeral home.
