The document goes on to state that Margaret is of "full age and married to William Hamblin of Elizabethtown," and, "...daughter of David Manhard of Elizabethtown - who retained his loyalty during the late war - and that her husband retained his loyalty during the late war with the United States without _____ aiding or assisting? the Enemy and that the said William Hamblin did his duty in defense of the Province during the late war.[2]
