Thomas Burton Hammer, b. 03 Jan 1818, Schellsburg, Bedford County, Pennsylvania; d. 16 Jan 1857, Hammer's Station, (now Sabinal), Uvalde, Texas.

"Thomas Burton Hammer is my GG Grandfather and Thomas Harney Hammer is my G Grandfather. Anna Laura Hammer-Van Pelt is my grandmother, daughter of Thomas Harney Hammer AKA Harney"
