Biography

John was born on 17 Nov 1814 in Otsego County, New York. He was the son of Thomas Hammond and Susannah (Place) Hammond.

He married Louisa Lydia Keyes in 1834.

He died on 11 Sep 1873 in Virgil, Cortland, New York. He was buried in Virgil Rural Cemetery.^[1]
