Joseph Hammond was born on December 01, 1714 in Scituate, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony. His parents were Jedediah Hammond and Elizabeth Parker.[1]

He married Thankful Damon on 11 Nov 1736.[1] Together they had 12 children:[1]
