Death Certificate
Emert's death certificate states he died at the age of 32 years 11 months and 25 days. He was single and was a shoemaker in Portsmouth, Ohio. Emertt suffered from 1 Feb to 30 Mar 1911 with Phthisis Pulmonalis with is the technical term for Tuberculosis or also referred to as Consumption. The last visit from the physician, Howard Sellards, was the day before he passed away. His father is Jesse H. Hammond, born in Ohio, and his mother is Josephine Wilson, born in West Virginia. His father, Jesse is the person providing the information for the death certificate. Jesse was to be buried on 31 Mar 1911 in Greenlawn Cemetery.
