Henry Oliver Hammond was born on October 30, 1821 in Muskingham County, Ohio, United States, son of Peter Hammond (1791–1867) and Christena Shepler (1796–1851).
Henry died on September 16, 1843 in Muskingum County, Ohio, aged 21. He was buried in Bethel Cemetery, Norwich, Muskingum County, Ohio.[1]
