Anna Rosina Hampel was the daughter of Godfrey Hampel and Anna Kaellner. She was born January 11, 1864 in Graase, Kreis Falkenberg, Silesia.
She departed for the United States with other family members on April 7, 1880 on the "Herder."..
She married Oliver Nelson on March 19, 1883 in DeKalb County, Indiana." He was born January 23, 1855, the son of Samuel Nelson and Rhoda Evans. He passed away April 22, 1901. 
According to Find a Grave, they were the parents of Austa and Rhoda Permilla Nelson Easterday.
According to the 1930 census she was housekeeper for John Tomlinson.
She died May 28, 1937 in Hicksville, Ohio and was buried in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville Ohio.
