Lewis Hampton was born in 1788 in Harrison County, Kentucky, United States, son of Andrew Hampton and Mary Falconer.
Lewis married Phebe Caplinger on 10 January 1807 in Woodford County, Kentucky.[1]
Lewis died in 1860 in Lee County, Iowa aged ~72.
