Birth Registration: Third Quarter (July--September) 1879, Ashburton, Canterbury Districts, New Zealand.

Death Registration: Fourth Quarter (October--December) 1915, Ashburton, Canterbury Districts, New Zealand. Age at Time of Death: 36 Years.

John was born in 1879. He is the son of James Hampton and Frances McMullan.[1]

He married Isabella Jane Wilson about 1911.[2]

He died in 1915 aged 36 years old.[3]
