Biography

Ann (Hance) Morton was born on 1 Dec 1759 in Chester Co; Pennsylvania, Colonial America, daughter of James Hance (~1723 - 1785) and Alice (Buffington) Hance (1725 - 1775).

Ann married Benjamin Morton (1765 - 1851). Their children were:

  1. Joshua Morton (1791 - >1870)
  2. Sarah (Morton) Powell (1797 - 1881).

Ann died on 25 Jun 1845 in Bruceton Mills, Preston Co; Virginia, USA aged 85. She is buried in Shady Grove Union Cemetery, Brandonville, West Virginia.[1] [2]

Hance-590 and Hance-183 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate. the only debate appears to be whether she was born in England or in America.
