John Hancock was born 10 Oct 1732 at Charlestown, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts bay Colony, son of John Hancock (bef. 1699-1776) and Susanna (Chickering) Hancock (1700-1763); married 20 Nov 1760 Martha Sparhawk, daughter of Noah Sparhawk (1697-1776) and Priscilla (Brown) Sparhawk (1702-abt 1765); [1]
