Biography
Ann (Hancock) Taunton was born in Gloucestershire, England.
Ann was baptised 15 Jul 1737 Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire. The register named her parents as Stephen and Mary. [1]
on 1 Aug 1768 she married Charles Taunton. Their marriage took place at Chipping Campden. [2]
Ann and Charles settled at Hidcote, near the Cotswold village of Mickleton, Gloucestershire. They had at least one son, John.
When Charles died in Feb 1788 he made Ann the executrix of his will, with her two brother John and James to be trustees. [3]
Ann died on 7 Aug 1788 [4] and was buried at Mickleton. [5]
