Samuel married Mildred Dawson about 1758, probably in Albemarle County, Virginia - they had nine children including Dawson Hancock

He has a F.A.G. Memorial (no headstone photo) https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/192216664

His will was dated December 30, 1810, and proven May 13, 1813 in Wilson County, Tennessee[1]
