Jack Hancock was born in Oundle, Northamptonshire, England.
Jack was the son of James Henry Hancock and Martha Baxter. He was born in Oundle in the final quarter of 1899. [1]
In 1901, Jack was 11 years old and working as a School Errand Boy. [2]
