1881 census: living in High Street, Riseley

1891 census: living in high Street, Riseley with parents and siblings

1901 census, living with parent in High Street, Riseley. Occupation: Press Worker Shoework

1911 census: living in Risesley with parents and siblings. Occupation: Roadman, Beds County Council

Served in the Bedfordshire Regiment in World War I. He was invalided out of the army due to a foot wound. He was offered a job at the local Council, which he worked for for many years.

Buried in the Churchyard at All Saints Parish Church, Riseley with his wife.
