Biography
Fred was born in 1867 in Long Buckby, Northamptonshire, England. His parents were Isaac and Sarah Ann (nee BROWN).[1][2]
In 1871 Fred lived with his family at Hagger's Lodge, Long Buckby Wharf.[3] By 1881 they had moved to Welton, Northamptonshire, and Fred was working as an agricultural labourer.[4]
In 1889 Fred married Frances Sarah NIXON.[5][6] In 1891[7] and 1901 the couple lived at Fog Cottages in Nether Heyford, Northamptonshire. Fred worked as a railway platelayer.[8] At the time of the 1911 census, Fred lived with his son Harry at 12 South Street, Lower Weedon, Northamptonshire.[9]
