if you could upgrade to the 111 or higher ydna kit it would help in determining where ben came from. also i see that someone in group 5 has claimed william as well.

wondering if the ydna could be affected if cousins marry. maybe the children of samuel and johanna may have mutated dna???

the difference between y12 results and y111 results are huge and the genetic distance could be greatly reduced by further testing. it was in my line anyway.

looks like most of the people in groups 1 through 5 have the same haplogroup R-M269 which is actually inconclusive as it is the small test that i took the first time and got the same result. the people in the comparison need to take the y67 or higher test to determine if they are actually different. again most people on the planet get the R-M269 result, so it is inconclusive. further testing needs to be done.
