Jane Boot departed from her home in Nottinghamshire, England, in 1863 her family sailed on the Ship ”Tiptree” from Canterbury, England and arrive in Lyttelton, Canterbury, New Zealand on the 20 January 1864. James & jane Boot had five sons and three daughters.
Sadly on the 5 October 1918 at Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand, she passed away.[4] and was buried on the 7 October 1918 in the Linwood Cemetery, Linwood, Butterfield Avenue, Christchurch, Canterbury,New Zealand.
