Hi Dr Hancock. My tree is extensive but I am having a problem with William Badman. I show a William Badman 1759- 1811 Wells, Somerset, England spouse Elizabeth "Betty" Clark 1758-1830 also from Wells, Somerset, England with a daughter Sarah Badman 1786-1855 but I also show a William Badman born 1761 Wedmore, Somerset, England with parents John Badman and Elizabeth Day. Can you help? Sarah Badman is the spouse of William Leakey 1775-1837 and am wondering about both William Badman considering it is an uncommon name. Thank you for any info you can provide.
Greetings from the USA Roger. I noted that you are a follower or care taker of the name Uren. It may also be spelled U'Ren, which is how my maiden name was spelled. My Great Grandfather whose name was Robert U'Ren was born on August 14, 1850 in Uny Lelant, Cornwall. HIs wife Louisa Jane Tregembo U'ren was born in 1858. They both died in Negaunee, Michigan, USA. I am curious if you might have any records, information on parents etc. Thank you. If I might be of assistance to you, if would be my pleasure.
Yes I am interested in Urens in Cornwall prior to 1800. I understand that the name is pronounced U-re-n. One version of the name seen earlier is Yurion.
I think I've found your Robert on the 1851 census and Robert and his parents Robert & Jane on the 1841 census.

Hi, Roger. A merge of Patrick Brontë and his duplicate has just been approved by default. However I've just noticed that the LNAB should be Brunty. Would you change it before the merge is completed, please?
