They had children Jasper Newton HANDY (b.1837), Rebecca HANDY (b.1840), Claiborn HANDY (b.1841), and William HANDY (b. 1843). He married (2) Mary Polly Smith on 16 November 1843 in Hart County, Kentucky. They moved from Kentucky to Jackson County, Missouri, near Fort Osage or Sibley between then and in the 1850's. They had children Catherine HANDY, Thomas HANDY (b. 1845), Esther Jane HANDY (b. 1846), and George H. HANDY (b. 1849). John died on 26 March 1892, and is buried in Wyandotte Cemetery, Linn County, Missouri. (S4). Jesse G. HANDY. Born (in 1811)(about 1811-S7)(1814-S5). He married Harriet HOUK on 30 January (1836-S7)(1838-S6) in Barren County, Kentucky. Harriett was born in 1815, daughter of Michael Houk and Elinor Donan. He died in Indiana.
