Lucretia Handy was born March 11, 1810 in Vermont. She was the daughter of Michael and Roxalana (Burroughs) Handy, who later settled in Danby, Tompkins County, New York.
Lucretia married John Landon about 1831. They settled in Lenawee County, Michigan. She was the mother of five children. See more about her life under John Landon's biography.
Lucretia Landon died January 27, 1874 in Rollin, Lenawee County, Michigan due to inflammation of the lungs. [1] She is buried in Greens Lakeside Cemetery, Manitou Beach, Lenawee County, Michigan. [2]
