Biography

JOHN R. HANES DIES AT HOME

John R. Hanes, aged 73 years, two months, and seven days, passed away yesterday evening at 6:30 at the home of his son, George Hanes, near Big Horn, death being caused by pneumonia. Mr. Hanes leaves his widow, three sons, and three daughters; Mrs. James Sabis, Mrs. John Blaine and Mrs. Jake Adams, George and David Hanes, all of Sheridan County, and Thomas Hanes of Hardin, Montana. Remains are at the Reed Funeral Parlors. Funeral services will be conducted at Big Horn, the time to be announced later.[1]
