Emma Hankin was born in 1859 in Ardeley, Hertfordshire, England^[1]. Her parents were Edward Hankin and Eliza Hart^[2][3]. She married Charles Sharp in 1882^[4] She died in 1899 in Chapmore End, Hertfordshire, England^[5][6]
