Biography
When Flaval Lavada Hankins was born on September 24, 1914, in Oklahoma, her father, Charles, was 27, and her mother, Rosa, was 20. She married Jackson 'Jack' Sherwood on November 21, 1932, in Jackson, Oklahoma.[1] Jack died in 1967 and she married Mr. Eugene "Jean" M. Cotton. Jean died in 1980 and Flaval died on July 11, 1997, in Altus, Oklahoma,[2] at the age of 82, and was buried in Eldorado, Oklahoma.[3]
